Work with Jay

The people around you decide how far you go.

There are two ways to work with Jay: Keymasters, a year inside a community breaking their locks together, and twelve weeks of private coaching. Both start with a free thirty-minute Access Call.

Free, thirty minutes

The Access Call

Thirty minutes with Jay, free, and the only way into Keymasters. Sometimes the honest answer is that it isn't a fit. If so, Jay will tell you.

  • Why you requested access, and what's going on in your work and life
  • What your assessment results showed you
  • Your Peak Goal: if the next twelve months went as well as they could, what would be different?
  • How Keymasters and private coaching work, the time they take, and what they cost
  • Whether it fits, both ways

Keymasters

The founding year

People who join before January 12 get a short pre-season, then start the first Journey together.

  1. November 16 to December 31

    Pre-season

A welcome call with Jay within a week of joining. Your baseline Lock Score and Peak Goal in the Lab. Group calls on November 18, December 2 and December 16. A free seat at the December 12 workshop.

  2. January 12 to March 30

    The Journey

Tuesday evenings, ninety minutes, one lock a week. Pods meet from the first week. Everyone retakes the Lock Score at week six. The first Keymasters Live day is in March.

  3. April onward

    The rest of your year

Founding results published in April. Monthly hot seats and quarterly Live days carry on, and the coach track opens for members who want it.

How a Journey session runs

Twenty minutes on the lock. Forty minutes working it, with one member in the chair with Jay and then everyone in pairs. Twenty minutes of decisions and commitments. Ten minutes setting the week's check-in.

Time

About three hours a week during the Journey, and about two after.

The founding promise

If Keymasters isn't right for you after the first four Journey sessions, you get a full refund.

Founding members are the first group measured. In return for the founding rate, you agree that your results can be published without your name, and you record a short video at the end of the Journey.

Who it's for

  • Capable and successful on paper
  • Stuck in one or two areas that keep repeating
  • Tired of advice you already know
  • Short on people around you playing at the same level

Who it isn't for

  • Anyone in crisis, or looking for therapy. Keymasters is coaching and peer accountability. If what you describe needs a therapist, Jay will say so.
  • Anyone looking for an income opportunity
  • Anyone who can't give it about three hours a week from January to March

Optional

Some members will want to coach

Keymasters is for your own growth first. If your purpose turns out to be helping other people grow, there's a path for that inside membership.

  1. The JourneyJanuary to March 2027Every future coach experiences the method as a member first.
  2. The coach trackApril to July 2027Jay's nine-hour Foundations course, weekly practice labs, three observed sessions with written feedback, and two practice clients.
  3. CertifiedFrom July 2027Coach with the method, lead pods and co-facilitate the Journey.

Nobody certifies without finishing the Journey, and nobody is ever told what they'll earn.

Questions

Is this therapy?

No. It's coaching and peer accountability. If what you're carrying needs a licensed professional, Jay will tell you on the call, and he won't enroll you.

Can I make money with this?

Keymasters is for your own growth. Some members choose to certify and coach later. That's optional, and no one is promised an income.

Where does it happen?

Online, on Tuesday evenings Pacific time, with pods meeting at a time that suits them. Live days are in person at the studio in Southern California, with a virtual seat for everyone else.

Can I pay over time?

Yes. Founding membership can be split into three payments of $1,050, and private coaching into two.

What if I miss January 12?

The next Journey starts in April. Request access any time and Jay will tell you where the next group is.

Do I need to take an assessment first?

It helps a lot, because the call is built around your results. If you haven't yet, take the Lock Score before your call.
