It started with my obsession with happiness.
For a long time, I thought money was happiness. I thought if you had enough money, enough success, enough freedom — happiness would naturally come with it.
Then I started working around people with very high net worths. People who had what the rest of us are taught to want. The money. The lifestyle. The things society promises will finally make us happy.
Many of them were miserable.
It made me feel lost. If money wasn't happiness — what was?
